We Can Perform Your Procedure in Our Irvine Office

Oral surgery can be a bit scary but take comfort in knowing that you’ll be in good hands thanks to the skilled doctors and compassionate staff here at MacArthur Dental Arts. We understand that people feel more comfortable having procedures performed by a dentist they know and trust, which is why we handle most types of oral surgery right here in our office.

Tooth extractions

Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, but most commonly because the tooth has become unrestorable because of tooth decay, periodontal disease, or dental trauma.

tooth lengthening

We can remove excess bone or gum tissue to show more of your tooth surface. This can be done for an improved appearance or to prepare your tooth for a restoration like a dental crown or veneer.

Gum reshaping

If you are unhappy with your uneven gums, our dentists can remove excess gum tissue and give you a gorgeous gumline.

dental impants

Man made roots that are site specific and custom for each patient. Can be used for single tooth replacement or full mouth rehabilitation.

failed dental implants

Although rare, there are situations when implants can fail, we provide services that can aid in implant rehabilitation.

Surgical Procedures

We also perform the following two surgical procedures that are commonly used to prepare for successful dental implant placement.

Bone Grafts

If you need a tooth extracted or don’t have enough bone to support an implant, we may recommend a bone graft to increase your bone density. We simply graft a material that spurs the bone to grow in your jaw.

Sinus Lifts

“If you don’t use it, you lose it!” If you have been without a tooth or teeth for a significant amount of time, your bone begins to diminish. In your upper jaw, the sinus cavity grows and replaces its bone density. We can provide services that allow for the regeneration of bone in the sinus cavity to allow for better a foundation to place implants.
